Deadline for abstracts: January 15, 2007

The organising committee of COV&R 2007 welcomes proposals for papers for its meeting, to be held in The Netherlands. Featured speakers and paper presenters will develop the subthemes of Tolerance and Vulnerability:

1. Between demonized minorities and glorified scapegoats: the response to growing intolerance

2. Tolerance and vulnerability in sustaining complex systems  

3. Vulnerability and tolerance in the theological traditions

4. Vulnerability and progress of knowledge: ethics and epistemics

5. Reconciliation as the conversion of negative into positive reciprocity

6. Vulnerable heroes in literature

7. Vulnerability and tolerance in schools and organisations

Abstracts

COV&R 2007 intends to facilitate preliminary discussion among participants by using interactive devices. The abstracts will be placed online after acceptance. So, please, send abstracts:

- limited to 500 words, including links to relevant information/sources/sites

- accompanied by biodata of the author, preferably with linkages to webpages

- indicating under which theme the paper should be presented

- before January 15, 2007
